Amar Jyoti School of Nursing, Chanho

The society is running a Nursing School where every year 60 young rural girls (1st Year 30 & second year 30) are taught and trained to be ANM nurses. The girls come from rural and poor families. A low fee structure and flexible mode of fee payments in installment is helping the girls to do the course. The training is scheduled as per the norms of the government. The course is recognized by Indian Nursing Council and affiliated to NIOS.  Apart from the regular syllabus, we give special classes on spoken classes, computer basics, and etiquette.  The purpose of the course is to help the rural girls get a training with a lower and affordable fee structure so as to manage to upgrade themselves after their normal schooling who otherwise cannot afford to take up further studies. They are given nursing care skills to deal with patients which is a need of the time and also to enable them to master a profession in order to acquire jobs and improve their socio economic life.  There is high demand for this profession in all parts of the country. At the completion of the course, we assists them in placements. They are given placements in nursing homes and hospitals in Ranchi and even other states like Delhi and Karnataka.  Our students are doing well in their carrier as graduate Nurses. They are well placed in life and are a source of financial help to their families.
