Amar Jyoti Society (AJS) is a not-for-profit organization, established in the year 1990. Society is run and managed by the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of Apostles (SRA) of Ranchi Province, to promote development initiatives throughout India. Society is headed by a President and a well-experienced team from different fields who are professionally responding to issues that are affecting the lives of children, tribal women, poor and marginalized people. AJS has been primarily working in the field of education, healthcare, women empowerment, tribal development, vocational training for the youth and rehabilitation of specially-abled children, etc.
To establish a progressive, peaceful and human value-based society where all people access Rights as Citizen
To empower the tribal and marginalized section of the society. To this end employ Right Based Approach and Participatory method to eliminate socio-economic inequality, promote health nutrition and self-reliance.
